An outrageously decadent gourmand that feels like stepping into a dessert kitchen after midnight, where melted chocolate, caramel, and warm pastries hang thick in the air. Choco Loco by Borntostandout Inspiration opens with an intoxicating rush of rich cocoa, boozy liquor, and melted butter, creating a dark, velvety sweetness that feels instantly indulgent. As the fragrance unfolds, layers of burnt sugar, caramel, condensed milk, and fluffy whipped cream melt together into a warm confectionary heart, while a touch of ginger adds just enough spice to keep the sweetness glowing rather than heavy. The drydown is pure gourmand bliss: silky vanilla absolute, warm cookie dough, brown sugar, marshmallow, and soft musk wrapped in the subtle skin-like warmth of ambrette, leaving behind a trail that feels edible, cozy, and completely addictive.

I wrote this a review two weeks ago and I haven’t gotten around to posting it. I’ll share it now and then I have an update below.

smelled this while I was in Korea and I loved it even though I'm not a gourmand girly. The og smells like a decadent cup of hot chocolate topped with fully marshmallows and a chocolate drizzle on top. I decided to get this one now so that it has time to marinate and be ready for winter wear.... It opens up smelling kind of nutty, like hazelnuts or Nutella. It then morphs into smelling like cocoa butter. At the dry-down I can smell more vanilla and this smells more like Swiss Miss chocolate milk. She's good now but I know she'll be even better come jacket-season.

*so now, two weeks later I decided to wear it to bed last night and it has already morphed into a delicious fresh from the oven chocolate cookie scent. What I perceived to be nutty notes when I first smelled it have calmed down and it’s much more chocolaty. I’m so excited for it to continue to develop as I wait to wear it out during the fall.

This is one that you should order a few weeks before planning on wearing as it needs some time to come together.
